Customer Reviews
Book #60, deserves sixty stars!
Some series, the standard of the individual stories, tends to drop or fluctuate a bit, no such thing happens with a JD Robb book, however. This book is the sixtieth, full length novel in the series, it is excellent. A crony of Summerset’s, Roarke’s mentor and major-domo, visits New York and is murdered within minutes, of his arrival. The killer places a replica of Dallas’ business card between the victim’s fingers. Big mistake! Eve Dallas, values the lives of everyone in New York and always does her best for the victims of murder. Summerset recognises his friend on her murder board and becomes a valuable source of information, as do the rest of Summerset’s former allies, during the Urban Wars. The wars, finished nearly thirty years ago but this murder brings that time, straight into the present.
Fantastic

I have never read an in death book that I haven’t enjoyed! The loyalty, dynamics, focus, frustration and rawness of the characters emotions are always awesome. No wonder the author has so many BESTSELLERS.
