Publisher Description
Amelia grew up in a world of half-truths. She knows she's an Elder, but has no idea what that means. Her father reminds her daily that she must maintain control, but he refuses to explain why. Even worse, she's betrothed to the prince of the Immortals and doesn't even know his name.
Finally breaking free to live a few normal years at a community college, the last thing Amelia expects is to find her best friend in a cheeky southern girl, or fall for a self-assured human who sees her for who she is, not what she will become.
As she learns more about herself, Amelia realizes the line between love and duty is a thin one. As her power continues to increase exponentially and her questions are slowly answered, Amelia must make the ultimate choice. The question is, will her head win the battle, or her heart?

Great Read
I enjoyed reading this story.
Love it and feel captivated by it
I am amazed by the nemotional impact of the romance. The fantastic use of vocabulary and the characters I don't want the book to end I feel immersed by the adventures the characters and I would it to become a movie just to witness the same thing but in the romantic movie I honestly think Aidan and Amelia need to get married because I fangirl scream every romantic moment in the book as I am writing this review halfway through the prophecy book but love and I wish it would become a movie.
Wonderful
I came across this book as a free book advertised through BookBub. It has entertained me these last few nights as I was up with a fussy, cuddly bubba, and for that I'll be eternally grateful. To have a book that's interesting, has great characters and is fun to read, during regular broken sleep, is an absolute treasure.
I'm thrilled that book 2 branches out to a different POV and I can't wait.
