I love it when Bowen write college romance and Boyfriend definitely hit the spot. Abbi has always had a bit of a crush on Moo U’s hockey star, Weston and when she overhears a conversation between him and his teammates about Weston ‘hiring’ himself out for Thanksgiving, she capitalizes on the opportunity. Between Weston wanting to avoid his family over the holidays and Abbi needing a buffer when she visits what’s left of her family, they seem like a match made in fake-dating heaven.
Abbi and Weston are both so damn likable and I could have kept on reading their story for days instead of actually finishing it in one - oops! They were so sweet together (but not disgustingly so)and perfectly well-suited. Their friendship grew along with their relationship and I was here for all of it! A really lovely easy-to-read romance with plenty of banter and heat and I kid you not, I’m already ready for a reread.
