Boys of the Island

Sailing aboard the Lady of Baltimore, an 83-foot schooner, thirty-six boys from the International Diplomatic Academy in Washington, D.C. are headed to Puerto Limón, Costa Rica where they will spend a whole month at the Continental Hotel. They are the sons of foreign ambassadors and U.S. Congressmen. Once in Puerto Limón, they will simply be boys glad to be away from home. Two days from their destination, Fate decides to step into their lives, and they will be happy to just survive. Months later, in Washington and elsewhere, political repercussions stir governments and individual hearts alike as a result of what happened with the academy boys.
