Brothers

In Roman Britain, Verluccus a native boy is enslaved and given to a Roman child Gaius Marcius. He runs away but is recaptured when a man fighting amongst a gang of robbers who are destroyed by the Romans and is returned to his owners. Recalcitrant and obdurate at first he eventually succumbs to serve Gaius; but while Gaius is obsessed with Verluccus, Verluccus is falling in love with his masters sister, Gaia, and she with him.
