You need help. Actually we all need help given fly fishing's profusion of esoteric aspects. You need: "Bug the bug."


The classic fly fishing advice, available since 1653, is Isaac Walton's "The Compleat Angler." Other great anglers like Joe Humphreys, Joan Wulff, Kirk Deeter, Barry and Cathy Beck have added to the knowledge base over the years but not until "Bug the Bug" has there been an author who dared to look below the surface for advice. Who knows more about what is going on in the streams and lakes than those aquatic insects that have been careful observers and denizens for over 300,000,000 years? How the author actually hacked into their communications system is not disclosed but no reviewer has seen fit to question the advice and observations of the various bugs interviewed for this book. With an inexhaustible wellspring of questions from clueless neophytes to guileless guides, we can look forward to years of practical advice from these ancient sages.
