Oh my!!
Oh my this series just gets better and better. This is Castiel’s story and what a story it is. He is ruthless and not wanting love but finds himself infatuated with Tahlia despite not having the best of starts. They are perfect for each other in this quest to rid the world of evil. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait to read the next book.

I absolutely loved this book! Ms. Donn really knows how to write a book that will suck you right in and not let you go! Adair Empire series is the first time Ms Donn has stepped into the darkness, but you wouldn’t know it! She writes any genre with expertise and captivates you with her words! Castiel is the best one yet in my opinion. The series just keeps getting better and better as each book is released.
Castiel is so possessive, hard, strong and yet, he is completely sweet! Well, I thought he was sweet anyway. He is willing to do absolutely anything if that means it will save, or protect, the ones he loves. Talia is sweet and innocent, living in s life that should be way better than it is. Her story broke my heart. Castiel and Talia together was pretty hot! There were certainly a couple of steamy scenes where their chemistry was off the charts!
The story had me captivated from the first word. I seriously could not put my kindle down! The whole novella was just so gripping! It had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what might happen next. I am loving this series so much! I can not wait for Atticus’s story next, it’s going to be so good!
