Only when children learn and acquire various kinds of knowledge and instructions during their growth can they become equipped with proper qualifications to live lives of healthy and social people. 

It is the same in faith. New believers who have just accepted the Lord can become spiritual warriors only when they are provided with the nowledge of the spirit and the instructions of the Lord that are necessary for successful lives in the Lord.
