When their father is taken by an unknown assailant, teen siblings Cage and Mia are left with nothing but their dad's old junk. Yet one of the old artifacts, a metal orb, holds a great power. It thrusts Cage and Mia back in time to medieval China, and they are captured by the fourteen-year-old Ming emperor. Fighting to prove his innocence, find his father, save the Emperor, and evade conspirators, Cage learns the frightening truth about his family — that he is part of a royal lineage that has been battling evil for nearly a thousand years. For Cage and Mia to survive the past and move forward through time, they must confront an invading army, command the dead, and bring sacred statues to life.


In 2010, Chambers was optioned by Warp Film and is currently in production to be a major motion picture.
