Christmas in River’s Edge
I loved the third in Nan’s The Weaver Sisters series. This one features single mum Jenny Weaver and Archeologist and history professor Gabe Dawson. Jenny married her high school sweetheart who basically broke her heart and she comes back home to be with her sisters and family. Gab has always had a huge crush on Jenny and coming back to town to help his mum gives him an opportunity to reconnect with Jenny who is reluctant to get back into the dating scene. This was a sweet romance that grabs at your heart, there are so many layers and complexities that have to be overcome and Nan writes her characters so well that they jump off the page and reading her stories is like returning to old friends. If small towns set around Thanksgiving and Christmas are your thing then don’t miss this one.
