Christmas Rose

The day before Christmas, King John’s illegitimate daughter, Lady Asta decides to run away from Lord Althfael to whom she has been betrothed for seven years with no wedding in sight. She seizes the opportunity to escape the tower where she has been held prisoner and bolts for the woods.

Captain Galinn Strongbow, King John's trusted emissary, has the tedious task of visiting Lord Althfael to force the old goat to marry the girl, when he comes upon a young woman in the forest with an injured ankle. In the spirit of the season, he offers his assistance. What could possibly go wrong?
