A science-fiction rural-urban-fantasy short story. 'Tis the Season, her favorite season, and Rosalind is home safe, tucked away in a haven as far from her old 'home,' and all the places her hunters know to find her, or so she thinks, until she hears a troll roar. With cookies in the oven, and a storm on the horizon, and all she knows and loves a very long way away, Ros is on her own…save for the hunters closing in…and the unexpected guests. With any luck, she'll be able to escape into the storm before anyone tries to kill her…again…
