Colin Frake Fire Mountain
The world of Reanne has a secret bigger than the night sky. It lies buried deep under the town of Vigerock. It lives in the thoughts and dreams of the royals in Nightchurch. It is protected and watched over by a mysterious woman named Shore. It is cultivated and revered by the witches of Fire Mountain. It is bestowed upon unsuspecting young men who live out their days as giants, shunned by the lowlanders. Some call it magic or witchcraft, but others know better. Reanne is a unique place in the universe, an outpost that holds clues to the origin of existence.
Colin Frake knows nothing of these things and spends his afternoons wandering Owlfoot Canyon. He is fifteen years old, and is about to be drawn into an adventure of epic proportions.

Multiple realms are on a collision course, and each has pieces of the puzzle that is Reanne. A magical creature named Tuma knows this all too well. She is a keeper, an ancient guardian of the lands around Fire Mountain. Her dreams take her to the stars and back again.

Incredible!
Asclepius is a sensory masterpiece that needs to be experienced! I found myself captivated by this magical narrative which is powerfully complemented by the rich illustrations of Otto Bjornik and accompanying music of Thomas Bergersen as well as Nick. Together they enliven the enchanting world of Reanne and its futuristic Asclepius settlement. The story continues the adventures of Colin and Petunia’s from the first ebook “Colin Frake, On Fire Mountain,” and introduces us to a myriad of new characters that enhance the fantasy world already established in the first volume. This ebook is a solid follow-up and will both, stimulate and inspire your visual and aural senses.
Another epic experience
Asclepius is as unique as the first book. Nick has a distinctive writing voice that never fails to intrigue and entertain, guiding readers through Reanne, following Colin, Petunia and other characters on their journeys. The transition to a futuristic space setting was a little jarring at first, but it proved to be a fresh, interesting plotline. And then there's the music. Every track was, as always, a masterpiece - my favourites are Talia's Theme I from book 1 and both versions of Nightwood from books 1 and 2, and also Rise of A. The music really brought the characters to life and immersed me in the story. Together with the illustrations the book was one amazing, delightful adventure, and I look forward to the next one, coming out next year. :)
