iKeepSafe created a series of lesson plans, videos, case studies, critical thinking activities, and handouts designed to inspire creativity and help students make conscious choices about sharing their own creative work while understanding the value of respecting the rights of other creators. 


AASL Library Standards and new Common Core Standards identify “understanding copyright and fair use” as essential 21st century skills. iKeepSafe's curriculum makes these concepts clear and accessible to students, and gives them the knowledge and skills they’ll need to be successful in the digital world. This includes important skills for navigating online media, how to acquire creative content legally and ethically, and why it matters. We anticipate that these lessons will prove practical and relevant in multiple curricula that deals with creative work.
