Covenant of Intimacy

This book is intended as a brief introduction to the history and practice of the ancient rite of blood covenant. A blood covenant is the most binding and strongest form of intimate relationship two people can enter into. Today, we call it marriage. But even marriage, especially in the Western world, has been watered down to contractual obligations, with a carefully considered 'get out clause.' Interestingly the Bible is a considerable source for the practice of this rite from Abraham's time right through to Jesus. For example, you can only fully understand why Jesus was Son of God and Son of Man at the same time by having a blood covenant mindset. Indeed two books of the Bible are called the Old and New Covenant. There is a place to re-consider what intimacy really is all about.
