Lewis Harrison is miserable after his wife leaves him. Devastated by the fact that his one shortcoming would render him loveless for the entirety of his remaining life, he hopelessly dives into his business, unsure of what good would come out of anything. And for a while, things do go well, and the future seems less bleak than he had anticipated.

Until he bumps into someone so close to the past he was running away from, it knocks his breath out. Although he can’t decide if it’s in a good way or a bad one.
