It was a lot, could have been better
There was a lot going on story wise. And no completely clear plot. I half though someone was planning a coup half the book. Emotions were all over the shop and positions in relationships were made clear only to have the characters seemingly forget them when it was plot convenient.
It was interesting but I have read better versions of what this story tired to achieve (ie. mina carter’s ‘Warriors of the Lathar’ though I’ve only read a version of Bk1, which did this concept better and it had EVEN MORE going on plot wise but it made sense)
