Without thinking I got up and headed for the door, the bar was closer to the entrance and/or exit, so I'd probably reach her before the other two.

Thank God I came out when I did because it looked like she was about to fall. Reaching out, I caught her by her shoulders and righted her.

"Woah steady" I caution 

"I'm okay," she says in a shaky voice, I definitely don't want to let her go now, but I do eventually.

I see her purse lying on the sidewalk, and I immediately retrieve it. What is it with me and wanting to impress this woman?

"Lynette, stop!" Sara almost sounds like she's pleading

She pauses and looks at her with something akin to disappointment and immediately feel like I've walked on to the set of some unexplained telenovela.

"Please Lyn, not like this," She adds, trying to physically restrain her, but this smaller woman is like a bullet locked on a target, no backing down.

"Oh, so now, now you want to be sensible? Well, too late! You lost your chance because I'm putting an end to this myself," she says with a note of finality in her voice. 

Something inside me sinks as she turns to me, gazes leveled, I almost want to ask her not to say whatever it is she's about to.

"You really should leave Mr. because my sister has a kid, She's married!" 

This a three part short insta-love romance story, packed with drama, twist & turns, and of course a happy ending.
