Loved it
Having enjoyed previous books in the series, I could not wait to dive into Austin Moore and Sage Hill’s story which was a good addition to the series.
We have met Austin before, as he is the younger brother of Pike, who is married to Gigi. We all know the Gallo’s and regardless of blood, once you are connected to a Gallo, no matter the relationship, you are a part of their family.
Meeting Sage, Austin is attracted to her however Sage has a plan for her life and meeting Austin does not fit into it. Both are in the military and as they have different ranks, should be off limits to one another. I really loved Sage, she is such a sassy, feisty woman who could certainly hold her own.
Austin is my idea of a book boyfriend, caring, protective and total swoon worthy.
Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais did a wonderful job with their narration. They brought all the passion, love, romance, and humour to their performances. Bringing the characters and the story to life, I was fully invested in listening to them. They work well together, and it showed.
From the first to the last chapter, I was riveted to the story that Ms. Bliss wove.
All the feels
I love the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series so I was very excited when I heard we were getting Austin Moore’s story. Well, all I’m going to say is, Austin and Sage Hill’s story was everything I expected and so much more. If you have read the previous books you will know Austin as the younger brother of Pike who is married to Gigi and as his brother is now a family member of the Gallo’s that makes him one as well. Both Sage and Austin are in the military and neither are looking for a relationship or love but we all know we can’t always control what our hearts want. Based on different sides of the country and different ranks mean a line should not be crossed …… Dare touched me on so many levels, I was captivated from the first page and there was no putting down until the final line was read. I swooned, I smiled and I held my breath as I found myself once again enjoying time with one of my all time favourite fictional families but it was the writing that took this book to another level. Well done Ms Bliss.
