Dark Uprising

He fought to save his fading race. Now he's bound to protect a human who could destroy everything.

Riasg has already lost his place among the dark fae. With his magic tainted and his kind slowly dying in the human world, he's found a fragile new purpose among the fae hiding from a world that doesn't know they exist.

Then a human arrives.

Fleeing a radical environmental group whose fight to save the planet has turned deadly, October is hunted by the authorities and the people she once trusted. And when she crosses paths with Riasg, she accidentally blood-binds the dangerous dark fae to her as her protector.

Neither of them want this.

October doesn't believe in magic. Riasg has enough trouble keeping his own life together without being responsible for hers. But the bond isn't so easy to sever, especially when one of them doesn't even know fae exist.

And October's enemies aren't the only danger.

The secluded Vermont farm sheltering Riasg and his companions holds secrets of its own. With suspicion growing and the outside world closing in, October's arrival threatens one of the last refuges for a disappearing race.

Yet the human Riasg never wanted to protect might hold the key to saving them all.

He may be bound to keep her alive. But can he trust her with the future of his kind?

Dark Uprising begins the Tainted Fae urban fantasy series, where magic is fading, loyalties are dangerous, and saving the world might mean destroying everything you love.
