Darker Water

Great story and writing. I couldn’t put this book down, the story was a little different from the norm and totally enjoyable.

Loved every moment reading this story. So much real emotion and such insight, particularly around abusive relationships. I have copied many passages so I can reflect on Lauren’s perfect succinct prose. Can’t wait to get into all her other books.

Loved the writing style and the background of the characters made for an interesting life element. Read in a day with smiles and tears!
