Deadly Fudge Divas

The spring fog has not lifted off the bay, and already Ava Oosterling's Blue Heron Inn is trembling with Zumba music and raised voices. Five wealthy college friends have taken over her newly opened bed-and-breakfast for a girlfriends' getaway of chocolate facials, wine, and fudge. They have not stopped arguing since they arrived. They call themselves the Fudge Divas; Ava's grandfather has a few choicer names for them.

By the morning they are due to leave, one of them is dead. Jackie Valentine is found in the harbor alongside Grandpa Gil's boat. There is blood on the boat, and Gil admits he was aboard with her the night before.

Gil is the reason Ava came home to make Belgian fudge on the docks, and she knows he would never hurt anyone. But someone did. And Ava's gut tells her the answer is still under her own roof, among the guests eating her fudge and asking when they can go home.
