The best things in life are crazy…
Sara is obsessed with rock star Tyler Vincent, and as she works to complete her senior year, she’s determined to find a way to meet him—although her best friend, Aimee, keeps telling her to find a different escape from her desperately violent home life.
Complications arise when Dale, the mysterious new transfer student, sets his sights on Sara, and she falls for this rock-star-in-the-making in spite of her better judgment. When Sara wins a contest, she is faced with a choice—travel to Tyler Vincent’s home town to meet him, or stay and support Dale in a Battle-of-the-Bands hosted by MTV.
Their triangulated relationship is pushed to its breaking point, but there is another, deeper secret Dale’s been keeping that just may break things wide open...
Turn up your collar, feather your hair, and splash on some Polo, because we’re going back to the ‘80’s when MTV played music videos, there was no such thing as American Idol, and becoming a star meant doing nothing short of crazy for that one, big break.

This is my 1st review but definitely not my 1st read and this is my favourite genre Rockstars I love these kind of stories and Selena Kitt has hit the nail on its head with this one. This story is about Sara who at the age of 14 was in love with her rock idol Tyler Vincent, she has pictures all over her wall from top to bottom. Sara has painted a picture of herself and Tyler for a competition she has to win to get the hell out of that house. A new guy comes to her school her friends tell her that he looks just like Tyler Vincent but she doesn’t believe them until he walks into her class and sits right next to her. His name is Dale Diamond and he’s the lead singer in his band and he’s the spitting image of Tyler Vincent but Dale has his own secrets. Sara’s stepfather had beaten her and her mother the pig that’s why she wants to leave. Sara and Dale fall in love and they had told each other their secrets which shocked the hell out of me. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and i highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
