Deception
Mirror Travellers

“E = mc². Strange little formula, isn’t it?”
I kept whispering it to myself, wondering—what really happens when you travel at the speed of light?
It was just another late night at the old, dusty train station I take home from college. I climbed the stairs, found my usual seat, and stared into the blur outside the window.
Harmony.
Another weird word drifted through my head as I checked the time.
My eyes grew heavy. I closed them for just a second... then a whistle woke me.
My stop.
But this wasn’t home.
Darkness—a kind of sight on its own—wrapped around me. My face was covered. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t see. The hum of a van engine echoed behind the silence.
Was I dreaming?
Was this real?
All I remembered before the darkness… was a black surface. And thick, fog-like smoke rising from it.
And now you’re wondering... how the hell did I get here?
