Holy Toledo Batman! This story just gets better and better! The only downside is that I have to wait until January to continue reading the next instalment!
This second book continues the story of Ella and Kayden. Ella, after being attacked and suffering severe amnesia, is slowly starting to remember glimpses into her past but not everything. There is a threat over her that is becoming more real as the story continues but also Ella herself is becoming stronger and more determined to win. Kayden is The Hawk, the leader of The Underground, who is protesting Ella.
The passion between Kayden and Ella is red hot, their relay is growing in leaps and bounds and combined they are slowly unraveling the mysteries of Ella's past.
The characters are described so well you feel you know them. Lisa Renee Jones writes so that the reader can understand what the characters are thinking and feeling, getting inside their heads to become one with them.
The setting sounds heavenly and makes me want to explore Italy.
This is a fast paced book that is easy to read but be warned- you won't want it to end!
