Publisher Description
The end to his story has already been written…
Brad Steel made a promise to his wife and children—to create a legacy born from his love for them and his desire to protect them from harm. It was a worthy ambition…
But along the way, something went terribly wrong.
Daphne Steel loves her husband beyond measure and will stand by him no matter what, even when it’s more than she can deal with. She escapes when she must, still always putting Brad and their children first.
Mysteries deepen, secrets are unveiled, and Brad vows to continue to protect his family at all costs. But is the price too high? The lies and misdeeds get easier and easier, until he descends to a place he swore he’d never go.
There’s no turning back, though, and his actions have consequences—for those he did everything to protect.

Decent
Great to read but hard to work out at times as when things happened etc. cause so long ago going back and forth. But glad to know who raped her in end. Too.
Descent
Terrible worst of the series.
Sorry I paid for this book
Worthy of more than 5 stars!
My head and my heart took a beating with this... I had a feeling going into this that it was going to make my heart hurt and it did. I have been invested into this story since the beginning and with each book, it just gets better.
This was the last book to Brad and Daphne's story and it is full of so many twists and turns. From the moment I picked up the book, it had my mind twisted in so many directions. We finally find out what is going on with Daphne, many questions have been answered, one of which is what she has had to endure.
it seems as though with each attempt to protect his family, Bradford is pushed back. The author goes in deep and we get answers to what Bradford did to protect his family.
I laughed, I cried, I screamed and I cursed the author out... (more than once) and I threw my kindle across the room twice. To say this book had me all twisted up in knots would be an understatement.
All-consuming, addictive, and full of suspense, thrill, mystery, drama, and passion. This book had it all and I feel like the author did Daphne and Bradford's story justice.
I cannot wait to see what's to come!
