Destination: Bangkok‪!‬

Allow me to show you Bangkok through my eyes.



Experience the sound, look and feel of this city that truly never sleeps, through beautiful images, videos and soundbites.



One of the videos is a unique time lapse sequence of the setting up of the world famous Pat Pong Night market, made especially for this book!



Some of the places we will visit are: Wat Po where you can find the famous reclining Buddha, Klong Toei market where they sell anything edible and wander through the alleys of China Town and the outskirts of Bangkok.



We will take a ride on the back of a motor taxi, navigating through the dense Bangkok mid-day traffic jams and I will show you some of Thailand's street food culture.



In one of the chapters we will venture out of the metropolis and I will take you to Chang-Mai in the mountains of the north, we will celebrate Chinese New-Year and Thai New-Year (Songkran) in Sukhothai and we will see some of the many cultural treasures of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya, both former capital cities of Thailand.



This book will give you a good impression of what to expect when you visit for the first time, or will conjure up dear memories if you have already been.
