Publisher Description

A holidaying sports heroine crosses paths with a cheeky but charming cattleman, as they try to work their way out of a jam…

An injured-world champion softballer, searching for a lost family connection, unexpectedly crosses paths with the cheeky but charming caretaker, Alex, on her Aunt's outback farm.

With Verily holidaying at the farmhouse, she's a curveball Alex would love to catch—but she's also a risk to his heart and homelife he'd rather avoid.

But finding himself in a jam, Alex herds Verily into a wild scheme that could propel his dreams into fruition. Until a feud between old friends threatens to derail everything.

With her return tickets booked, can Alex convince Verily to stay or will they find themselves on opposite sides of the globe forever?

From dusty cattle stations to flourishing mango orchards, welcome to Elsie Creek, a sweet small town series set in a place where the summer never ends.

cahsao ,

I am one of the blow in cousins but I call the territory home.

I name drop my cousin (miss Helen) who lives in the territory.
Thank you for the lingo, painting pictures with words to bring them to life.
For the laughter and insight you bring to the characters.
I also live vicariously through listening to central station pod casts.
I am a townie who was at 14 banned from the cattle yards because I couldn’t move faster enough and I couldn’t tell a cow from an anti hill. I did not know at the time I needed glasses to see distance.
The characters in this series are amazing deep and light hearted when many of the true Territorians have a rich experiences. Thank you

Leggy from Down Under ,

Different theme a surprise!

My third completed book by this delightful author who writes with passion for the outback & throws in an odd ball in each book. Even though a series these are singular stories & need not be read in sequence. I loved this because I once played softball & loved it. A touch of romance, down to earth characters, family conflict, beautiful imaginary scenery & you have an enjoyable page turner.
