This authors books are always pretty good for the first 50 pages or so, and then you realise how.. goddamn.. slow everything goes. Even the 'steamy' scenes have multiple paragraphs just saying the exact same things but worded differently, usually along the lines of 'no one has ever effected him like this guy, and his resolve and control is gone blah blah blah' it takes the steam outta the scene to be honest. Also, I'm good with the switching perspectives between chapters, but sometimes it'll just switch between characters in the middle of a page! It's super confusing and stupid. I've tried 2 books by this author and I'm seriously disappointed with both.
