This book explores a group of animals that first appeared on land more than 400 million years ago—insects. A comprehensive introduction places insects in the context of other living things, and an extensive catalog showcases the amazing variety of earth’s most abundant—and often bizarre—animals. From butterflies and moths to dragonflies and grasshoppers, from beetles and bees to ants and earwigs, hundreds of individual specimens are profiled in incredible detail, each accompanied by clear, concise text and key data.

Insects & Mammal good, needed extra time to download, not straight forward like other books?.. get the latest iOS version, plug in your iPAD and click on the store tab on your computer(uh hah) check available downloads, during insects download check iPAD doesnt go into sleep mode as download pauses, then sucess.
Excellent, beautiful book
This book is simply a joy and a pleasure to own. The images are stunning and the video and sound well chosen and integrated.
It works flawlessly on my iPad and I suspect those having trouble are running the previous version of iBooks.
Paused in Library and won
I bought both Insects and Dinosaurs two days ago. Both of them have the word Paused overlaid on them and are stuck in the library and will not play at all. How can I get my money back? If you buy a book and it is broken you can take it back to the shop and get a refund or a replacement. Where is the responsibility to the customer when the iBook doesn't work. I've been on to forums and tried finding answers. Other people seem to have the same problem, but there is no solution I can see anywhere online. Feeling very frustrated and disappointed.
