Down and Dirty

5 Stars for Down and Dirty book 5 in the Hot Jocks Series I loved everything about Landon Covington and Aubree Derrick’s story, it was fun, witty, romantic and very entertaining and if friends to lovers is a genre you love you won’t want to miss this gem. What starts off as a drunken mistake in Las Vegas soon turns into so much more as these friends finally realise the feelings they have for each other is more than just friendship. Aubree may be older but that doesn’t stop the fear she feels when it comes to Landon and relationships in general so will Landon convince her that night wasn’t a mistake made in the heat of moment or will she walk away from her best chance at a life filled with love and happiness..... Guess you need to read the book to find that out. This is a beautiful story of friendship, love and loyalty and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers. The characters are adorable but it’s their road to happiness that will really draw you in, another great read from the very talented Kendall Ryan.

I loved Aubree and Landon’s story so much! And the support of their friends is insurmountable!
The banter is witty and oversharing happens alot but with the wonderful way they talk to each other you cant help but feel envious!
Aubree and Landon may have made the most important decision they could make one fateful drunken night but whats in store for them is incredibly beautiful!
Yes as with any relationship there are bumps in the road but could it be fate keeping them on the right path to true happiness!?

Down and Dirty is book five in Kendall Ryan’s latest Hot Jocks series and is Landon Covington and Aubree Derrick’s story and what a story it was. This book is not your typical romance story and that was what intrigued me. I admit I am not a fan of age gap romance (although seven years is not too bad), in fact I can count on one hand the number I have read and enjoyed over the years, but this one was a great read. It was also a pleasant change that Landon is 7 years younger than Aubree, not something you see that often.

This is a friends to lovers story, with a side of hockey, an accidental marriage and a virgin, that was a fun and entertaining book to read.

Despite their difference in ages, it is the Landon who wants to stay married and does not want a divorce. The chemistry between them is intense and I loved the build up of tension. It also doesn't hurt that there were quite a few laugh out loud moments that got me some funny looks from those around me.

I loved Landon, he is so swoon worthy and Aubree is a strong, confident, feisty woman who I would be happy to call a friend. This is a steamy, heart warming book left me with a smile on my face and is perhaps my favourite in the series to date.
