Down South

This short story tells the tale of Michael Compton, a Northerner, and Danielle Boyette, a Deep South gal, who he meets by chance. They have more in common than their five senses show them.

Home is not a place so much as a feeling—an intimacy shared, uniform acceptance, eternal belonging—even if you've never been there before.
