Dracula

Although I loved the literature of the book I felt as if it lacked reason. I first watched Coppola’s interpretation of ‘Dracula’ which gave more body behind the story.

I really did enjoy this book and am glad to have read it - but I can’t say I wasn’t disappointed to find that the original concept of ‘Dracula’ disregarded the origin of Dracula himself and vampires.

I regret to say I preferred the movie, but still found immense satisfaction in reading the book.

Dracula by Brampton Stoker is a uniquely written manuscript that enriches the mind of gothic, horror, mystery and medieval lovers.

Having being sent on a business holiday, Jonathan experiences superstition on his encounter with an eerie fellow named Dracula. Not realizing this horror, his fiancé seems to be developing some connection to the person.

It isn't before long that that several individuals in England find out about the superstitious figure of Dracula and attempt to rid of him altogether with God on their side. It is a battle between light and darkness.

For those who want to read this, you'll enjoy it, but you may at a a point grow a bit uneasy due to the lack of action throughout.

Style of writing is similar to Frankenstein. The book is written in the formats of journal entries and telegram rather than a narration. Overall, would recommend if you are interested in sci-fi and thriller books.
