It’s good
A bit predictable, I knew how it was going to end, made me think of Beauty and the Beast. But it flowed well enough, was easy enough to read. Aimed at a late teen/young adult audience, I think. Better than just “it’s ok”, so 4 stars it is.
Rushed ending
The storyline and writing style was very interesting and captivating.
I really enjoyed this book.
However I’m giving it 3 stars because it could have been a longer story, for all the build up the ending was over in a flash and it left many questions unanswered.
Enjoyable read and I likeable characters but had loads of potential but just fell a bit flat in the end.
Engrossing read
I really enjoyed the world created in this novel. I found the unfolding of the story touched my emotions beautifully; it engaged all of me and the writer has crafted her descriptions so well I could almost feel the cold of the story in a warm day, experience the levels doubt and confusion and see the colour of the eyes! Great read!
