A bit predictable, I knew how it was going to end, made me think of Beauty and the Beast. But it flowed well enough, was easy enough to read. Aimed at a late teen/young adult audience, I think. Better than just “it’s ok”, so 4 stars it is.
I really enjoyed the world created in this novel. I found the unfolding of the story touched my emotions beautifully; it engaged all of me and the writer has crafted her descriptions so well I could almost feel the cold of the story in a warm day, experience the levels doubt and confusion and see the colour of the eyes! Great read!
This book was very well written, it seems to be a spin on beauty and the beast, and it was wonderful. I couldn't put it down, I recommend to anyone who wishes for a book filled with mystery and a touch of humour!! All in all five stars
