A nine-year-old secret he never saw coming…
Bree Findlow’s ordered life just got complicated. Harley, the man who once broke her heart has temporarily moved back to Stewart Island, and her mother intends to sell the art gallery Bree has worked so hard to establish. If that isn’t a streak of bad luck, Bree’s sister arrives on the scene with a secret in tow. One with Harley’s eyes and artistic talent.
Renowned artist Harley Komeke returns to his home town to rediscover his missing muse and instead, finds a new one - the woman whose spell he fell under years ago at art school. He can’t resist the red-hot heat generated between them, even after discovering she kept their son hidden from him. He should be furious, but he isn’t. Not when with his dark past, he never, ever wanted to risk having a family. So what’s a guy to do when life throws another curve-ball and Bree won’t see reason? Fight hard, fight dirty. Fight to win.

"Just as the must-read series of Donna Kauffman (The Bachelors of Blueberry Cove), Jill Shalvis (Lucky Harbor), Terri Osburn (Anchor Island), Marie Force (The McCarthys of Gansett Island), Sherryl Woods (Chesapeake Shores) have entranced me with their seaside settings and caring communities - so has Tracey Alvarez - and I'm adding her series to my must-read shelf too."~ Fab Fantasy Fiction

Drawing Me In
Having read and enjoyed the previous stories in this series I was excited to be given an ARC and the opportunity to write an unbiased and unpaid for review of Tracey Alvarez' latest book, Drawing Me In.
Bree and Harley, drawn together in the past, in the present and in the future by an overwhelming love that has to overcome a secret kept hidden and the fear of repeating the past. Characters from previous novels are developed along with the love story of Bree and Harley, and I enjoyed reading of their ongoing love stories. An engaging story that had me from the first.
Drawing Me In
😍❤️🌟🌟🌟 Having read all the previous books in this series I had Preordered this one to read too, then I was offered an ARC For My Honest Opinion in a Review. This one is Different and
OH Sooo Good Harley & Bree have History, Secrets & Soooo Much Unresolved Emotion You feel like making them Stop,Talk,Listen to each other & be Honest & Express the Incredible Love & Passion they both have for each other. I Love the way the Maori traditions have been woven into this Story This is Absolutely MY FAVOURITE of the SERIES CouldNot put it Down. Yes I Will Still Pay For My Preordered Copy because Tracey Alvarez You are ONE FANTASTIC AUTHOR 😍❤️
Another winner for the series
You know when you are hunting for a new author and hope they have a series in the works...well I struck gold when I stumbled across Tracey Alvarez. I have loved each book in this series and like most, you have favourites...but I also knew that this book would be worth the wait.
Tracey has managed to take the series in a different direction in Drawing Me In, a bit more complicated...a wee bit darker but has still maintained the warmth of the series. The storyline is a hard one and I wasn't sure where it would end up. Tracey has handled it well and with sensitivity.
I'm not a fan of huge back stories and flashbacks but when a couple has history, as Bree & Harley do these are vital for the storyline. Tracey starts the story feet first running and the flashback scenes are brief but full of the necessary info so the story flows well, yay. Tracey has an amazing talent of turning a character (Bree) that you meet earlier in the series and initially think you can't possibly like and cracks her open to reveal a woman you definitely find yourself liking and even similarities to your own self.
The artistic imagery was fantastic and made me wish I could paint and as always the inclusion of Maori traditions was seamless and natural.
I truly enjoyed reading this book, I read the entire story in two sittings. Tracey has the ability to take you away to another place with her story telling. The warmth and happiness of her characters flows out of the story and touches the reader. Yes, I was gifted with an ARC copy of the book in exchange for my honest review but I had already pre-ordered the book prior to this so was prepared to pay for my own copy.
