Druid Among Us

This is the story of Druir ap Mir. It follows through with an encounter between Druir and Mab, Queen of the Fairies. The reader becomes a part of the Welsh and Irish legends and learns that those who are chosen of the gods are not necessarily blessed by them. Sometimes a blessing is more like a curse. Druir begins his quest for the long lost treasures of the Tuatha De Danan. It is here that Druir—philanthropist and vampire—becomes a detective, searching through time and dimensions to recover the treasures of the forerunners of his people and all truly British peoples. His quest carries him across the mists of the Fey and into an Ireland that is spoken of and sung about by all of the Gaelic and Briton peoples. It is here that he meets Og Nur, the blacksmith; Hufchu, the Crot Chot; and Sceolan, the Fenian wolf. He has a personal conflict with Balor-of-the-Evil-Eye, Bress and Ruadan. Along the way there are encounters with Fomors—both of the land and sea variety—Fir Bolgs, Gnomes, and Wizards. Some become allies, some become foes, and many become victims. In due time, his quest ends and he is returned to the modern world to lead his lonely existence and to wait for the next time he is needed. It is his curse, his calling, his doom...
