Publisher Description
Introduction Economic theory identifies foreign direct investment (FDI) as a factor of major importance for economic growth. This proposition is considered to have global application for all countries experiencing foreign investment inflows but is especially relevant for the developing ones. In addition to capital, FDI inflows include production technology, organizational and managerial skills, marketing know-how and market access through marketing networks of multinational enterprises (MNEs).
