ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said the federal government has transferred additional resources to provinces to lessen decades old sense of deprivation with increased spending on education, health and infrastructure development. Prime Minister Gilani while speaking at the fourth session of his "Dialogue With The Nation" initiative here at the PM Secretariat, said provision of education and health is close to his heart. The participants at the event including renowned social sector personalities and the representatives of print and electronic media spoke on a host of issues and presented their views during the interactive session, chaired by Prime Minister Gilani and conducted by Secretary Cabinet Nargis Sethi. The participants were unanimous in the view that the government by providing ample job opportunities to youth and promoting the healthy sports activities can counter the growing trend of intolerance in society.
