Publisher Description

The Power of Emotional Intelligence James Dozier discovered the power of emotional intelligence (EI) in 1981, which resulted in saving his life. Dozier was a U.S. Army brigadier general who was kidnapped by the Red Brigades, an Italian terrorist group. During the initial days his captures were euphoric with excitement, agitated and irrational at times. He felt that his life was in danger. To save himself, he remembered something he had learned about emotion in an executive development program at the Centre for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina.
