In "Trapped in a Dream", Faith and Chris barely survive a scheme that sought to eliminate all traces of an illegal experiment that granted them telepathic powers.

In this second delivery, while on vacation in Spain, Faith witnesses the brutal assault of a man through the eyes of the attacker. From the disturbing experience she takes away that the assailant is a woman and that it happened in a laboratory. But she also senses something is terribly wrong with this picture.

Faith and Chris immediately inform his parents, George and Teresa Luxford, who, fearful for their safety, have them team up with an old colleague, a Spanish professor, Xavier Vall, whose loyalties are not always clear, but who is uniquely qualified for undisclosed reasons to protect them.

So, clueless as usual about what is going on, Faith and Chris find themselves embroiled in the pursuit of a sinister woman unaware she is the subject of a science far more advanced than their own and willing to stop at nothing to protect a secret.
