Eyes of the Tarot

"Eyes of the Tarot" is a mystical adventure made richer by accurate descriptions of tarot cards and their potential interpretation.

I wrote four "mystic adventures" at around this time: "Eyes of the Tarot", "Waiting Spirits", "Spirits and Spells", and "Amulet of Doom" and eventually they will all be available here. They were written as novels of "teen terror" but in each case I tried to make the book richer and deeper than was expected for the genre. This book, for example, has shades of high fantasy, and a definite mystic arts quality. I worked with a tarot deck (which I still have) to make the layouts and readings as accurate as possible to the tradition of the tarot.

Originally published as part of Bantam's "Dark Forces" series, I later revised "Eyes of the Tarot" for republication in 1996. This edition is based on the 1996 text with some minor changes and additions.
