Excellent suspense read
This is the third book in series of which I have now read all. I thoroughly enjoy this authors style & pace that works towards the finale & has authenticity for the reader in police criminology with a hint of romance as a soft touch. Extremely readable, flowing story line with added touches.
Can't wait for the next one!
You know you have read an extremely good book when you finish the last word & think I wish the next book was already available.Karen Davis is a great author & her professional policing history lends a wonderful degree of realism to her suspenseful plots & characters.
This is the third Lexi novel & I hope for many more.In this story Lexi is working undercover to capture a sophisticated drug ring,although many other police jobs are cleverly interwoven throughout.
The romantic undercurrents are well written,they balance the story but do not overwhelm the main plot.
I highly recommend this book & author to all.Do yourself a favour & put it on your TBR list as soon as possible.
P.S. I do not write a synopsis of the story in my reviews because to me that just takes away from your enjoyment of the book.
