Publisher Description

Federal Land Bank of Wichita (Bank) foreclosed against Burgett, after which the Bank purchased the property for the amount of the judgment. Burgett then petitioned the trial court for redemption and to set aside the foreclosure sale, citing fundamental error in the sale. The trial court granted Burgetts petition. A dispute arose between the Bank and Burgett on the question of the amount owed for redemption. The trial court concluded that $248,671.90 was the amount owed, inclusive of taxes and alike. Burgett appeals, and we reverse in part and affirm in part.
