After being ditched only weeks before her wedding, Cassie Stockwell wasn’t out looking for a hookup. Then the devastatingly handsome bartender she’d been trying not to obsess over for months offered to give her a ride home. What could one night hurt?
When his future was almost taken away after one impulsive decision, wolf-shifter Jace Miller waited patiently for months before making a move on the woman he knew to be his destined mate. But will one night of passion keep his little human by his side once she learns of his world and the danger it brings to her doorstep?
Not my usual genre for reading, but I was thoroughly engrossed in this story, and it's characters. Looking forward to the next book.
The story line was good, the character development sufficient to sustain interest to complete reading the book. Editing needs improvement, i.e. spelling errors (e.g. distain instead of disdain) and sentence structure. There are numerous instances of extra inappropriate words in sentences or words missing. Unfortunately, I didn't record specifics to include in this review.
I see these errors persistently in self published e-books and wonder is it the failure to use a quality, experienced book editor OR an issue converting from say MS Word to IOS. Another possibility given the types of errors I see is that perhaps the books are orally dictated and recorded in text. However, that still leaves the issue of poor editing.
