Finding Hope

Finding Hope is a picture book about survival and hope in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan. It follows one girl’s struggle to find her sister amid Haiyan’s devastation in the Philippines. Finding Hope also supports children and adults to face the difficult subject of natural disasters while witnessing the strength of humanity when all seems lost. 


Finding Hope introduces the work of Plan, the global children’s charity, within the Philippines. The photos within the book were taken by Plan staff members after Typhoon Haiyan.
