Fire and Ice

A collection of two interconnected short stories set during the Summer and Winter Olympics. Veronika Russel is competing in her first Olympics for Team USA gymnastics when she meets popular American swimmer Nathan Hawkins. The two are drawn to each other and try to figure out if they can have a relationship while also focusing on their respective sports and winning gold. Meanwhile, two years later at the Winter Olympics, reporter Melanie Stark is given the opportunity to follow famed American ice dancing pair Victoria Harris and Sam Pearson. The world has always wondered if the duo was a couple but things start to develop between Melanie and Sam. Melanie though is keeping a secret of her own that just might stop anything from going further.
