Audrey a park ranger who rehabilitates injured and sick animals, being bitten on the job by a wolf is all part of a day’s work. The next full moon she will find out how serious that actually will be.
Tao a pack enforcer is on the trail of the rouge wolf. Tao has a wolf size problem as the rogue wolf is his brother.
Tao is a wolf born werewolf (only one of four in the world, the other are his brothers) the pack felt they should have been killed at birth. As they felt they were an abomination! Tao being sent by his alpha to take care of the rogue wolf is torn between doing what is right and what his heart says should be done. The rogue werewolf is going around biting people is Tao’s brother Nick, the first person he bites is a sexy, curvy woman that soon has Tao’s heart.
Nick is going around biting people to make his own pack that has a nasty difference compared to other packs. Nick makes it easy to dislike him and hope that he gets what’s coming to him in the end.
Audrey is the first bitten by nick; she helps Tao out of a jam when they first met. Audrey takes everything that Tao tells her exceptionally well. She does seem to have a healthy dose of denial in her acceptance though.
Tao’s Alpha Dan seems to be a werewolf bigot only accepting of those that are born not bitten or wolf born. He is either unable or unwilling to listen to reason the lives of those that Nick has bitten are in Tao’s hands.
It was a good thing that First Moon was no longer as I was unable to put it down I read all night. Michelle Fox is a master story teller and the rest of this story is something I am looking forward to reading.
This is a great read for anyone who likes romance and shifter romance especially

Well written with characters that you want to know more about. The interacion between them keeps you wanting to keep reading and ai was sorry when the book ended
