Publisher Description

Challenge.  Adversity. Discomfort.  Words I've often met with an instinctual urge to, well…. quit.  Whether it was after a horrible day at the plate or at work enduring over-time in cube-land, looking for a way out was my answer.  An escape from feeling inadequate, incapable, or unable to fulfill my potential.

Deeply ingrained in that notion were counter-balancing feelings of the need to be the best.  The greatest at what I do, whatever the circumstance.  This undoubtedly stems from a 20-year addiction to the game of baseball.  To an unscratchable itch to be better than the guy I was competing against.  Yet failure or even the idea of failure bred insecurity. Cause for questioning my ability or potential.

Allow me to quit once more.  To turn my back on that mindset.  This book was my roadmap to quit quitting. A lesson to find a way to produce when only the slightest amount of potential exists.  While this lesson is important between the white lines, it's application is imperative outside.
