From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new novel in her beloved With Me In Seattle Series!
There are two things Maeve O’Callaghan values more than anything else: her family and her career. Being the eldest daughter in a large, close-knit and somewhat chaotic Irish family means spending most of her nights in the family-owned pub, serving drinks and food, always accompanied by a smile. During the day, she’s a superstar real estate agent, selling homes on her beloved island just across Puget Sound from Seattle. She doesn’t have time for much else, and she’s perfectly okay with that.
Enter Hunter Meyers. He’s looking for a new place to call home, somewhere out of the city, and believes life on the island could be just the thing for him and his troubled teenage daughter. While in search of finding the perfect house, his sexy realtor catches his eye, making him feel things he hasn’t in years. But with the added baggage of a surly teen and a past that will never be forgotten, how can he make something permanent with the gorgeous Irishwoman who tempts him like no other?
Maeve isn’t just attracted to Hunter with his killer grin and muscles for days. The teenager that tries so hard to push her away also pulls at her heartstrings. Maeve understands the importance of family, and can see herself making just that with Hunter and his daughter. But when his past comes back to haunt him, will their love be strong enough, or will they be ripped apart forever?
All the feels
I love my visits to Kristen Proby’s With me in Seattle World and Flirt with Me is the perfect addition to one of my all time series. This is Hunter Meyer and Maeve O’Callaghan’s story and I was captivated from the first page to last line, in fact I couldn’t get enough of this couple and I really didn’t want their journey to end. Maeve spends her days selling real estate and her nights working in the family pub, her life is how she wants it and she has no interest in love until she meets single dad Hunter who is looking to escape and make a new home on the island with his teenage daughter. Hunter needs a new start and the island is the perfect place to start afresh. Fate works in mysterious ways and it seems fate wants these 3 to make a family but will the baggage they both carry be to much to move past. This book ticked all my boxes, I fell hard and fast for Hunter, I adored Maeve and I wish I had a friend like her in my corner, I swooned, I sighed, I smiled and I giggled but what took this book to another level was the love, the push and pull of Hunter and Maeve’s relationship and of course catching up with old favourite characters from previous reads. This is a must read !!!!!
I was so excited to be back in Kristen Proby’s With Me In Seattle world and couldn’t wait to read Flirt With Me. This is Maeve O’Callaghan and Hunter Meyers’s story and what a fabulous addition it was to one of my favourite series. I was hooked, from the first world to the last, with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in.
Living on an island off the coast of Seattle, Maeve spends her days working as a real estate agent and her nights serving food and drinks in her family’s pub and has no time for romance. That is until single dad Hunter walks into the pub and then again into her office looking for a home.
Hunter is attracted to the smart and beautiful Maeve but with the issues he has with his daughter and the baggage of his past, he knows the last thing he should be doing is starting a relationship.
Despite themselves, the attraction between them is too intense to ignore. The chemistry between them sizzles and was hot and steamy. I fell hard and fast for both Maeve and Hunter, both separately and together. I also loved that Maeve opened her heart to his daughter, Rachel; totally heart warming.
The banter was witty and the push and pull of their relationship made for an entertaining read. It was also great to catch up with previous characters and I cannot wait for the next release in this series.
One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.
