All time faves
This is one of my all time favourite historical novels and my favourite of Laura Kinsales. The desperation both main character goes through, the love they share and the difficulties they face are put together by Laura in such a way that the story stays with you long after you finish. I first read this years ago and I keep coming back to it year after year because it’s such a rich, beautiful story. Give this a try, you won’t regret it.
Great Story
I have only recently started to read historical romances (more of a contemporary girl) however l loved this story.
The characters are well defined and the era & story are well described without going overboard.
Great value and a great read – I have found a new author Yippee.
